Viewing Client Communications

The Simfuni platform distributes email and SMS communications to your clients, triggered both by actions you have taken and also by automated background tasks (e.g. arrears or compliance related background processes).

 

You can view these communications at either a client level or an invoice level. The communications section at the bottom of the client page will show you all email and SMS communications that have been sent to the client for all their invoices.

 

To access communications at an invoice level, simply open any invoice and navigate to the Communications section. This will show only communications for that particular invoice.

 

In both cases the individual notifications can be expanded to reveal the full correspondence by clicking on the Show Details link. This is where you can see if an email hasn't gone through, as the Failed to send status will display next to the recipient's email address.

Filters

Communications are displayed in reverse chronological order, however in some circumstances it may be easier to find a particular communication by applying additional filters.

After expanding the filter controls, communications can be filtered down by date, communication method, and type.
